đ Common Terms Explained
A Job Requisition is a formal request to hire someone for a specific job position. It includes the job title, number of positions needed, salary, qualifications required, and other important details about the job. Think of it as a job advertisement that you create in the system.
A Candidate is a person who might be interested in working with you. You store their information (name, phone, email, CV, skills, experience) in the system so you can contact them and review their qualifications.
An Application is when a candidate applies for a specific job requisition. It connects a candidate to a job opening and tracks the status of that application (draft, submitted, shortlisted, interview, selected, rejected, etc.)
A Supplier or Agency is another company or individual that helps you find and recruit workers. You manage your relationship with suppliers and track their performance.
A Contract is a legal agreement between you and a worker (or an agency). An MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) is a less formal agreement. Both documents define the terms of work, salary, duration, and other important conditions.
Deployment means sending a worker to do a job for a client or company. Once a worker has been selected and has signed a contract, you deploy them to their work location and track their assignment.
A Subscription is when a candidate pays for premium features or services. For example, a candidate might subscribe to get priority consideration for better jobs or access to more job listings.
Retention means keeping deployed workers happy and satisfied with their jobs. It includes follow-ups, check-ins, and making sure the worker wants to continue working for you.
