❓ FAQ & Troubleshooting
There's no limit! You can create as many as you need. But remember: create separate requisitions for different job types. For example, if you need 5 Electricians and 3 Plumbers, create TWO separate requisitions (not one with mixed positions).
It depends on your system configuration. Some systems allow it, others don't. If you want to unpublish a job, it's safer to change the status to "Closed" instead. This way, no more candidates can apply, but existing data is preserved.
You can change the salary anytime. The new salary will apply to NEW applications. Existing applicants won't be affected. It's good practice to note when you made the change (e.g., "Updated salary on 15-Jan-2026").
Some systems have a "Duplicate" or "Copy" button. Look for it in the Actions menu. If not, you can manually create a new one and copy the text from the old one using copy-paste (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V).
Recommended timeframe:
- Entry-level positions: 7-14 days (high number of applicants)
- Skilled positions: 14-21 days (need time to find qualified candidates)
- Specialized positions: 21-30 days (harder to find right person)
You can extend the deadline if you haven't found enough candidates.
Quick fix: Close the job immediately to stop new applications, then contact your hiring manager and IT support. They can help you decide whether to delete it or create a corrected version.
This depends on your system configuration. Most systems prevent duplicate applications to avoid duplicates. If a candidate applies twice, you'll usually see both applications but can mark one as duplicate.
Open the job requisition and scroll down to the "Applications" section. You'll see a number showing how many candidates have applied. You can also look at the list view - some systems show application counts in the table.
